Everything you need to know about thermocouple welders, ignition pin welding, and working with WelderPro. Can't find your answer? Contact us directly.
A thermocouple welder joins two dissimilar metal wires (e.g., Chromel and Alumel for K-type) to form a thermocouple junction. WelderPro uses capacitive discharge (CD) technology: a capacitor bank stores energy and releases it in a controlled pulse through copper electrodes, creating a precise, repeatable weld bead. The result is a mechanically strong, electrically consistent junction suitable for temperature measurement.
Our machines handle all common thermocouple types: K, J, T, E, N, R, S, and B. Wire diameter range is 0.1mm (36 AWG) to 3.0mm (8 AWG) depending on model. The TC-100H handles 0.1-1.0mm, TC-300A handles 0.1-2.0mm, and TC-100B handles 0.5-3.0mm. For ignition pins, the TC-100H welds typically 2.0-4.0mm diameter pins to base materials.
CD welding is faster (0.5-2 seconds per weld), more repeatable, and requires no shielding gas. It's ideal for fine wires (0.1-1.0mm) and high-volume production. TIG welding uses a tungsten electrode and argon gas to create a larger, more controlled weld pool, suitable for thicker wires (1.0-3.0mm) and high-temperature thermocouple types (R, S, B). WelderPro offers both technologies.
The TC-100H is a horizontal benchtop unit rated at 900–1,500 joints per hour, handling single-strand wire 0.2–2.5 mm and stranded 30–20 AWG — ideal for labs and small-batch production. The TC-300A is a 5-station automated line rated at 1,800–2,400 pcs/h with PLC integration and a 10-inch HMI. Choose TC-100H for R&D and low volume; TC-300A for three-shift production.
Yes. Our CD welders are also used for: fine wire splicing, sensor assembly, battery tab welding, medical device components, and micro-resistance welding. The key requirement is that the materials are conductive (metals) and the weld area is relatively small (under 5mm diameter). Send us your parts for free testing.
TC-100H benchtop starts at $890 USD. TC-300A industrial grade is $2,450. TC-100H ignition pin welder is $1,680. TC-100B argon welder is $1,950. TC-300A automated lines are custom-quoted from $25,000+. These prices are 40-60% below comparable AMADA and OMEGA equipment. Final pricing depends on configuration, accessories, and quantity.
Absolutely. Send us your parts — wire samples, base materials, or complete assemblies — and we will weld them in our application lab at no charge. We optimize parameters, document the process, and ship welded samples back within 5 business days. This service is free worldwide.
We accept T/T (wire transfer), L/C at sight, PayPal for small orders, and trade assurance via Alibaba. Standard terms: 30% deposit, 70% before shipment. NET 30 available for established customers with trade references.
Standard models ship within 7-10 business days after payment. Custom configurations take 15-25 days. Shipping by sea takes 20-35 days depending on destination; air freight takes 5-7 days. We offer EXW, FOB Shenzhen, CIF, and DDP terms. DDP (delivered duty paid) is recommended for first-time buyers — we handle all customs and duties.
All WelderPro machines come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, electronic components, and workmanship. Wear items (electrodes, tips) are excluded. We provide lifetime technical support and ship replacement parts within 48 hours of request. Extended warranty up to 5 years is available.
